What is Mad Strong?
Mad Strong is a timed, strength-based course featuring a series of lifting/pulling/carrying type challenges. Completing the course will be an accomplishment enough, but you will also push yourself to advance through the course in the least amount of time possible. Obstacles include: Keg Wagon, Tire Stack, Bucket Brigade, Wagon Pull, Log Flip, etc. This event is strength/endurance based, not a distance running event (like Mad Run).
How Can I Participate in Mad Strong?
Mad Strong will be held as a part of the Mad Run event. Individuals do not have to be participants in the Mad Run to participate in Mad Strong. The course will be set up at Fort Recovery Ambassador Park with “drop-in registration” from 10:00AM-2:00PM on Saturday May 21st. There will be men and women’s divisions, with awards for top finishing times in each division. Cost is $20. (Minimum participant age of 14 years).
