What is the course going to be like?

The course, located at Ambassador park will start flat with several obstacles in the first half-mile. You will then work your way through a wooded area with ravines, mud pits, an abandoned railway line, and other surprises. You will finish in the central park area with the final challenges between you and the finish line. Description of obstacles is posted under the Mad Run Course.

What if I can’t/don’t want to complete an obstacle?

Paricipants have the option to by-pass an obstacle(s) if they are afraid or are unable to complete an obstacle. We would rather have you try than to avoid the event.

Is there a minimum age to participate?

All participants must be at least 14 years of age (day of event) to participate. If under 18 years of age, please bring the completed waiver (with parent/guardian signature) to the event. The waiver form will be available on the website here before the event.

Will there be entertainment/food available?

DJ services throughout the day with a variety of food, beverages, and beer available on site.

What does the Mad Run benefit?

The Mad Run is a fundraising event for local charities.  Your involvement in the Mad Run will ensure services are available to those in need.

How many people can there be on a team?

Teams can be made up of 5 or more people (no limit).  The top 5 times will represent the team time.

Is there anything not allowed at the Mad Run?

No dogs, no outside golf carts or vehicles on course, and no carry in alcohol.
